Speech, drama & confidence classes for kids · Benoni, East Rand, Johannesburg & Bedfordview

Every voice deserves the stage.

Speech, drama and public speaking, taught inside partner schools in Johannesburg and Bedfordview from Grade 0 to Grade 12, run from our base in Benoni on the East Rand. We prepare learners for Trinity College London examinations, eisteddfods and the moments that matter.

Act I · Overture

Confidence is a skill. We teach it.

A learner who can stand, breathe and speak clearly carries that into every classroom, interview and boardroom they will ever walk into.

For 25 years Confident Kids has worked alongside schools to build communication, presence and self-belief through the discipline of speech and drama. Lessons run during the school day or as extra-murals on the school grounds, so parents never need to drive across town.

What parents & students say

My daughter has been with Confident Kids for three years now, and the transformation has been remarkable. She went from being too shy to speak in front of her class to confidently performing in school productions. The teachers are patient, encouraging, and truly understand each child's needs.

Jennifer ThompsonParent, Pridwin Preparatory

The Trinity College preparation program exceeded our expectations. My son not only passed with distinction but developed a genuine love for public speaking. The structured approach and individual attention made all the difference. Highly recommend!

Michael ChenParent, Saheti School

Both my children attend Confident Kids and it's been one of the best decisions we've made. The Eisteddfod training helped my daughter win several competitions, and my son's confidence in presentations has improved dramatically. The team creates a supportive, fun environment where kids truly thrive.

Amanda WilliamsParent, St Andrews School

I've been doing drama with Confident Kids for two years and it's my absolute favorite activity! The teachers make every lesson exciting and I've made so many friends. I used to be nervous about speaking in front of people, but now I love performing!
